Privacy policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Astro Digital ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we receive through this website, why, how we protect it, and the choices you have. It follows Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada's federal privacy law.
Who is responsible
Astro Digital, Montreal, Quebec.
Person in charge of the protection of personal information: reachable at hello@astrodigital.ca. Contact this person for any question, request or complaint about your personal information.
What we collect
This website has no forms and no accounts.
When you email us at hello@astrodigital.ca, we receive your email address and anything you choose to write, such as your name, company and project details.
When you book a call, you leave this website for our booking page on Calendly. Calendly collects the details you enter there (such as your name and email address) and shares them with us so we can hold the meeting. Calendly's own privacy policy applies to that page.
When you visit this website, our hosting and security provider automatically records technical data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We do not use this data to identify you.
Cookies: this website does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 14.
Why we use it
- To reply to your message and discuss your project.
- To schedule and hold the calls you book with us.
- To prepare a proposal and, if we work together, to manage our business relationship.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We use your information only for these purposes, or for a new purpose if you agree or the law allows it. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send you marketing messages without your consent.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only what they need:
- our website hosting and security provider, to deliver and protect this site;
- our email provider, to receive and send email;
- Calendly, to schedule the calls you book.
Some of these providers may store information outside Quebec, for example in the United States. Before such a transfer, we assess the privacy risks and make sure the information is protected appropriately.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and booking details for up to 24 months after our last exchange, or longer if we work together and need them for our contract, accounting or legal obligations. We then delete or anonymize them.
How we protect it
We use reasonable security measures suited to the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to the people who need it, and reputable providers. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious harm, we will notify you and the Commission d'accès à l'information as the law requires.
Your rights
You may at any time:
- ask whether we hold personal information about you, and get a copy;
- ask us to correct incomplete or inaccurate information;
- withdraw your consent to a use of your information;
- ask us to stop disseminating your information or to remove a link to it, where the law allows;
- ask how your information was collected and used.
Send your request to hello@astrodigital.ca. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
